New skills for the virtual world

Most of us have gone through a period of significant adjustment in recent weeks and are now getting used to the new way of working. We’ve received many enquiries about the virtual facilitation skills needed to work well with remote teams, and have been happy to offer help by adapting our programmes and courses to meet immediate needs, and offering free advice through webinars.

So, here is a summary of courses and resources available to you right now, to help in your role, whether that is as a leader, trainer, team member, coach, facilitator or consultant.

Course news

A half day course taking participants through a programme of theoretical knowledge and practical application to become successful in the role of virtual facilitator.
This programme is also available as an in-house course for leaders and managers. More details can be found here.

Action learning facilitator training 2nd – 4th June or 6th – 8th July
Our traditional face to face course in action learning facilitator training has always been available as a virtual option. Our courses in June and July therefore will take place virtually, and we have just a few places left on each. We recommend you book early to secure your place.

Condensed Courses

We have shortened some of our standard courses to respond to the immediate needs of leaders, and action learning facilitators:

In-house action learning facilitator training for leaders
A short course to give leaders and managers the skills they need to connect well with remote teams. They will be better equipped to motivate, support and encourage teams whilst keeping them productive and focused on work targets.

Virtual action learning facilitator training for experienced facilitators 10th – 12th June.
This crash course takes place over 3 short days, and will enable experienced action learning facilitators to transition to remote working seamlessly. In recognition of the difficult times we are in, there are a limited number of discounted places available for sole traders so please enquire for further details of costs to take part.

Resilience Tools for the New Normal 17th June
Leadership Coach and Action Learning Associate Jennifer McCanna will share proven models and approaches which she has been practising with individual and team clients over the last decade. A mixture of presentation, small group discussion and reflection will help support you whilst working in more challenging times. Book now for this short, yet impactful 2½. hour programme.
